I don't think I could ever move very far away. My Blu-rays, games and CDs have to go wherever I go

I keep hoarding canned fish, brown cheese, moose sausage, roe paste, jam, chocolate... gah! Even those porridge- and sauce packets I wouldn't be caught dead using when at home.

Noooo not the brown cheese - it's the devil's variation of cheese! Never could get used to it.
One thing I still have a stockpile of is piffi. I put piffi on everything!

Exactly, though my books and DVDs come along as well, taking up all the more space. But that's why I have them.

I know American food vs Australian food is like excessive stuffing vs a balanced meal, but I love the excessive stuffing! I love the rich flavors, the greater variety, the fact that it's not as pricey. Besides, not everything back home is corn syrup and diabetes (much like not everything here is beer and Vegemite); plus hot sauces are more exciting there than here. That said, food here is nothing to complain about, unless the big supermarkets sell you rotting vegetables and call them fresh (this happened just recently with some "fresh" capsicum that looked good on the outside until I took them home and cut one open; fucking Woolworths).EphelDuath666 wrote:I don't think I could ever move very far away. Well, didn't see that twist in the tale coming. How unfortunate...both because of the misleading part, but a sorry state of affairs when there are enough stories about paedophiles that this sort of coincidence isn't that surprising!
Seriously, it's a bit like finding out there isn't an Easter bunny
And as got nutty folk, sane people are boring!
