Just look at their bedtime stories:

I don't know what the deal is here but it's been like that for decades. Most of the good, gorey horror movies from the 70's, 80's and 90's are banned here. It's really stupid. And once a movie is banned, a label has to go to court to unban it if it plans to release the movie. That's been the case with the original 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre'. That movie has been banned here for ages untill 2011 or 2012 when a small label went to court and got it unbanned. That of course costs a lot of time and money.

And even today movies still get banned here. The remake of 'I Spit on your grave' for example. Hell, Saw 7 was banned for a short while even. Etc, etc. . And now 'La Horde' of course. And interestingly enough it's old people who are against all those bloody movies, you know, to save us from becoming violent beings.. Which is kinda of funny...you know, it wasn't my generation that killed millions of people. As far as I know my generation has been one of the few seriously chilled out German generations. Wonder what horror movies Hitler consumed. *Sigh*.

I guess it will be interesting to see how it all plays out over another 20 years or so, as that generation's influence diminishes.

Was randomly looking through my old photos and I found this little gem, a half-assed Halloween costume from high school. I didn't try very hard that year, and the results were humorous. Of course no one had any idea who I was, so I carried around a picture.

Metallica announced they are going to play a special show in Antarctica. I wonder how many Trapped Under Ice gags have been made since this went public.

Metalsucks has the best one:

Ah, Mondays. The messengers of the yoke and breakers of serene reverie. How I loathe them.

On the bright side, it's gray and wet today.

I dressed up for work (as in, put on a metal shirt and badly applied corpse paint), but my sister is having a belated Halloween party tomorrow, so I might wear something better and upload photos then.

Edit, from my sister's party:

Michael couldn't find a trucker to kill in time, so he raided an op-shop. Yeah.
