Theres a lot of tasty things here in Thailand but let me tell you they also eat some really strange things here. They like to put salt on their fruit when they eat it. They eat pickled mangos, fruit called durian that tastes like farts (when I bit into it the taste really hurt my feelings. I mean why would mother nature want to do something like that to me?), cinnimon buns with ground pork in it. Must be an aquired taste or something.

Right now I also live with two cats that are both named "topaz". hehe. I like this thread. I got a lot of random thoughts.

Happy Birthday! and geez, that sounds like some fairly rough food I got to say. :| And random thoughts, are usually good ones! (well, mayeb thats a lie...)

I did more drawing. :D http://luna-glacier.deviantart.com/art/Consciousness-causes-collapse-108212129 If anyone is interested :D

Very talented, Amber.
I like the Japanese fractal water drawing.

Thanks very much! :D I never guessed how hard that actually is, but it was fun to do :)
You're a creative person of things as well too, if I recall rightly. Do you have many pics of the things you make? :D

I love it Amber! I knew it was Dev even before I read the caption.

I believe in another thread you mentioned the water theme recurring in a lot of his music, I would tend to agree - although I don't necessarily know what it all means  Anyways, great work keep it up! (Don't hesitate to post more Devin-inspired drawings) :D

Thanks :D I've put it down to two options with the water theme.

It could be, because water is related to the unconscious mind, espeically in dreams.
OR
Just cause it sounds cool 8)

Maybe even both :P

Well that's a better guess than any I could come up with. Sounds reasonable to me :)

Random thought of the day:
I just finished a 400 page book in 2 days. I got so wrapped up in it, and all of a sudden it's over :| What a let down

i remember having read the 7 books of the narnia chronicles in 2 days

it was LE awesome

I read the last 500 pages (second half basically) of the final Otherland book in about 7 hours after crawling through the series over about a year and a half. One of the most gripping climaxes and endings I've read (though I've heard some people strongly disagree... great series despite some flaws though)

One day? Well then I guess I'll be patient haha :P

Last book I read was "The Name of the Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss. His first published book apperently, and its about 600ish pages I think. And it's part of a trilogy, but the books are amazing.

It's looking like it might catch on the be the next Harry Potter though :? But I think it's too... Grown up? for that.

Actually that's kind of lucky. My birthday always landed in the Easter holidays and I thought it would be better to be with my friends at school on my birthday.

Just tell your teacher it's your birthday. I'm sure you'll get homework off and a lovely wowwyfop that way. Might even have sex with you if your from the States. I hear that's big over there now..
