Its my birthday today (its Dec 31 here in Thailand) now Im 23

Theres a lot of tasty things here in Thailand but let me tell you they also eat some really strange things here. They like to put salt on their fruit when they eat it. They eat pickled mangos, fruit called durian that tastes like farts (when I bit into it the taste really hurt my feelings. I mean why would mother nature want to do something like that to me?), cinnimon buns with ground pork in it. Must be an aquired taste or something.

Right now I also live with two cats that are both named "topaz". hehe. I like this thread. I got a lot of random thoughts.

I read the last 500 pages (second half basically) of the final Otherland book in about 7 hours after crawling through the series over about a year and a half. One of the most gripping climaxes and endings I've read (though I've heard some people strongly disagree... great series despite some flaws though)

Last book I read was "The Name of the Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss. His first published book apperently, and its about 600ish pages I think. And it's part of a trilogy, but the books are amazing.

It's looking like it might catch on the be the next Harry Potter though But I think it's too... Grown up? for that.

Actually that's kind of lucky. My birthday always landed in the Easter holidays and I thought it would be better to be with my friends at school on my birthday.

I always had this too apart from once. It's nice to have friends around wish you happy birthday.

Just tell your teacher it's your birthday. I'm sure you'll get homework off and a lovely wowwyfop that way. Might even have sex with you if your from the States. I hear that's big over there now..
