Even the most insignificant part of your life can be seen as a step towards evolution on any level, whether it be physical, mental or physiological. Evolution is learning, we learn every day from actions we do to ourselves and each other. Love, fear, compassion and anger are all part of us evolving in some way. If we did not experience these traits in life then we would not evolve.
Sadly though, I think our evolution has been put on hiatus for sometime now. We seem to concentrate to much time and effort on what's wrong with the planet and each other, rather than a solution to evolve further.
I think our evolution has been put on hiatus for sometime now. However, this I think is very true. When even the dumbest motherfucker on the planet can have kids there is not that much "natural selection" going on anymore. I wonder wether the collective IQ in industrialised countries is dropping or rising...

Dude what the hell!? That's not what I meant.
I'm saying that natural selection does not really happen in industrialised countries anymore. Of course evolution happens all the time and everywhere but without natural selection it won't really go anywhere.
