Talk about whatever you want to here, but stay correct

Yeah, thankfully none of it was near here...or there'd be thousands gone.
As it is, there's 108 perished, over 5,000 homeless and at least 2 townships that are just about non-existent now.

Growing up as a kid, I used to hear stories from the oldies about "Black Friday" in Jan. 1939 when half of Victoria was ablaze and 71 died.
I saw first-hand the Ash Wednesday fires in Feb. 1983; they were much closer to home, as well as in neighbouring South Australia.
I guess this one kinda overshadows all the previous...

I think it's unlikely the culprits will come forward....even though you'd hope they at least feel some remorse over what they've done. I've met people before who don't care about the consequences unless it affects them personally and it could just have easily have been that sort that started the fire. I don't watch TV so I've only heard snippets about what's been going on...but I hope the situation gets sorted out soon so no one else is in danger.

Painful....from the frostbite, or because you fall over a lot? Or is it because, like me, you have a large, bright pink coat that makes you look like the Michelin Man (or would, if it wasn't pink).

Whoa. White mascara looks good on you!

I will NEVER complain about the weather in England again. Oh ok, I probably will, but I will have less excuse.

Take some comfort, at least black is the right colour for the Michelin Man.
