I care very much Widked. I just try to stay clear of any subjects that may have the potential to get out of hand. I definitely have my opinions on the matter tho, and am not suprised to not see the subject brought up already...and almost relieved.

I've been in a rather depressed mood all week.

well, just because it hasn't been brought up doesn't mean that people don't care. I for my part have been watching the pictures on TV for DAYS ever since it began in total shock. They are showing it here nonstop on our German news channels too. I agree with Dave. People won't make a thread here dedicated to each tragedy maybe but that doesn't mean that they don't give a fuck. I understand the emotions and the frustration behind this but it isn't really fair either to say that nobody mentioned it out of Anti-American sentiment. When I don't agree with a country's government it doesn't mean that I don't give a fuck when 1000's of people in that country are dying and suffering. Like Dave said, there have been almost like a 1000 people dying in that stampede in Iraq and no one mentioned it. There have been quite severe floods in Central Europe (also in Bavaria) not too long ago where people died and there was no thread about this here either. But that doesn't mean that anybody here is Anti-Iraqi or Anti-European. Having that said...I hope everybody who may have been affectd by this and posts in this forum is fine, as well as their loved ones. And everybody else too of course.

Thanks to you guys for finding the exact right words on it before I had to try it.

The fact that I sometimes don't express my feelings about some of those terrible things that happen all over the world doesn't mean that those feelings don't exist. Wicked, now that you started talking about it you got responses, and I think that they speak for themselves.

The cool thing is: No one attacked you for what you've said, instead everyone explained his/ her thoughts on those terrible events. Just another example of the good communication here. In which I hope you still will participate!

Well... Sometimes I do. For the most part when it's linked here  But yeah... The comments there are often pure insults.

Interesting... Considering some of the newest posts here, the thread's name is quite an understatement!

Random Thought:

Listen to Weezer's Island In The Sun and watch Geoff's avatar at the same time... Whoa!
