Also recent purchases have been:
KMK - Fire It Up
KMK - Rollin Stoned
KMK - Hidden Stash
KMK - Kottonmouth Kings (pre-order)

They've been on my hard drive for years but you've gotta fund your fave bands.

Damn, dude! You should have already owned those albums! =) I still don't have Hidden Stash, so I should talk, but that CD is a bit too expensive for my tastes. It's always almost $20 like it's a fucking import or something.

Do you have Saint's new CD? Man, it sucks! It's amazing how shitty a rapper can become when the beats are shitty. He was so good on Royal Highness and the Stoners Reeking Havoc EP.

Yeh you're right, but I got weary about KMK after Hidden Stash 2 cause I thought that CD was horrible. Like I said they've been on my hard drive for years and I just never got round to buying them. I'm not a massive fan of Fire It Up either but Rollin' Stoned is probably my fave to date. I think the new one is better than Fire It up but still not as good as Rollin' Stoned, High Society and Royal Highness. What did you think of it?

Yeh I heard Saint's last CD, it is a shame... The album he did with Big Hoss (Unconformable Social Amputees - Spun Craz) beforehand was great though. They'll be re-releasing it soon according to their record label at http://www.uscirclea.com

Yeah, I never got that USA CD, I thought the one that Suburban Noize released was just a re-issue. I'll have to look around for that one now.

Honestly, I haven't disliked a single KMK album yet. I think there are some awesome songs on Hidden Stash II like Killa Kali, All About The Weed, Tell Me Why, Grow Room Jam, but there are some crap songs as well like Things I Do. I like Fire It Up, too.

Basically there are songs I don't like, but on the whole I like every album. They just put so many songs on each CD it's hard to like them all. I think I like Royal Highness the most, or maybe High Society. My main problem with them is the lyrics, how the fuck can you write about weed in every song? Hehehe...I've never smoked, so maybe I just don't understand! Hehehe.

Hahaha, I don't smoke either. Maybe I was a bit harsh on Fire It Up and Hidden Stash II as you're right, there are some great songs on there but there is some really bad song too. Unfortunatly that makes it hard to listen to all the way through. I think you hit the nail on the head with the fact they put too many tracks on each CD. I love the KMK punk stuff like 'Pushin Limits' and 'Who's The Criminal' but I think Daddy X forced too many of them onto Fire It Up.

What did you think of the new one then? It's really growing on me now, everyone seems to have gotten better again. I say that cause I think D-Loc has been really lazy on the last few Subnoize releases. Big B's new CD is pretty good much better than his first.

Yeah, the punk stuff is great! I love Johnny's Got A Problem, but sometimes the punk/hip hop thing just doesn't work. I would rather a CD with 12-14 solid songs rather than 23 songs where only 12-14 are good, you know? I mean, they put an album out a year so it's not like we have to wait long for new tunes! I wish Richter would do a solo album. That song Ladykillers he did is awesome!

I haven't really had time to listen to the new KMK, just at work where I downloaded it. I'm burning it tonight so I can listen to it more. I like it so far, but I really haven't paid much attention to it to give an accurate opinion.

Porcupine Tree:

Deadwing
The Sky Moves Sideways

i had to get them off amazon. i originally had ordered DW from PT.com but i found out the shipping cost $35 or $55US, on top of the CD which was $30...... how bizarre is that, so didnt feel like forking out that much money.

anyways, im very much looking forward to both of these albums :)

How much?? That doesn't sound right. Any PT stuff I've got via Burning Shed (PT merch dealer) usually is around £6 for shipping.

Did you get the 2 CD of TSMS I hope? Fargin' brilliant stuff. 8)

yes, I've sent the US distributers an e-mail too and they've sent a short reply and it was from a DTS chick. Dave, if I shouldn't get my copy then I'll have a couple of assasination missions for you :D
