 Some of you guys really have a lot of stuff!

I use a Lag Rockline with 2 EMG-81z, dean markley strings (10 - 46), a Marshall VS65, and a Boss GT3.
Same guitar for over seven years.

I havent seen those in a decade! One of the guitars that make you think, did they really have to do that too.

How is it? Usual super-strat or what?

Well, right now it's pretty beaten - need to work on that guitar... it's actually a nice axe, not the typical super strat - set neck, not bolt on, and a healthy neck profile, too... not one of those matchstick-thin Ibanez "Wizard" type necks (I always feared I'd break them in my hand...). So there's actual TONE in this guitar. Basswood body (nice and light), sorta decent pickups (but they're pretty done, if I was to play that guitar a lot again, I'd replace them). Schaller trem - solid floyd rose with Made in Germany quality. But the overall build quality of it is typical Gibson - that means, about as good as the average Korean guitar which costs 1/4... I mean, I've played that axe A LOT for six years. After that, I got my first PRS CU 24. I played that PRS A LOT for 8 years. And the PRS has no problems of any technical nature, whereas with the gibson, the output jack is done, the volume knob is scratching, the switches are giving out, there is a finish crack at the neck joint which worries me a little, the tuners aren't precise anymore (granted, you don't need them all that much with a floyd rose design), and the pickup polepieces and several of the screws are rusting like hell. My experience with this particular gibson and with several les pauls that belong to friends made me not buy any Gibson anytime soon again.

I'm keeping the U2 for nostalgia value, there are many memories connected to that axe. But I don't really play it anymore - also because I'm sooo fed up with the hassle of the floyd rose tremolo...

...a SG with EMG's?
Uhm.. I would advise you to keep the original pickups (gibson probably) in case you don't like it.
I don't know, but an SG with EMG's doesn't really sound like a good combination....
but it's all taste in the end ofcourse...

I have a Fender USA Deluxe Stratocaster (which I keep meaning to sell as I've not played it in about a year), an Epiphone SG400 (ditto, but this time the only original thing is the body and neck), a home-made hardtail Strat (not played that much any more) and a home-made Tele (which I play all the time). You can see a picture of the Tele in the gallery.

For pedals I have a BOSS DS1, a SD1 (which I use more often) and a GE7 (not used much any more). I have a Crybaby, and a BOSS DD20 (the King of Delays, the King of Delays, the King of Delays, the King of Delays, the King of Delays

My amp is a Marshall DSL401. It sounds pretty good when turned up loud, and even better when using the effects loop. I'm not sure why that is, but maybe something to do with feeding the preamp to the poweramp twice.

In the next few weeks I intend to check out and probably purchase a 1224 from http://www.matamp.co.uk 8)

When the weather is nicer I'm going to make another guitar - I was thinking of a white strat with a reverse headstock and PUs from http://www.bareknucklepickups.co.uk :D

bareknuckle pickups have awesome rep. but the war pigs look *really* grimy. I know they're meant to but still...

anyway - currently have an Ibanez DTX 120CB and an OLP 5 string Stingray copy. Blown my Bass amp so play through a behringer V-AMP2, hopefully buying a new amp during the summer for guitar as I don't really play bass anymore.

Ibanez RG1570 is getting ordered in a week or two for my 21st birthday present.

Through a dealer in Japan. Now they are available to the US through GuitarAsylum.com, but I wouldn't pay what they are charging.
