Hey Steve (Mr. Hell),

Meatlocker 7 - I've been talking with Mike. I'm coming out to your show May 7th.

Anyway...Colin here with Food4Music. I saw you were asking...

Looking forward to seeing SYL/Zimmers in May in Van, providing it's still on.
- perhaps we can get this duo next time.

This isn't on anymore as there are schedule conflicts. As you know since Byron is now also playing in Fear Factory, they'll be touring in Europe in late May - when we were planning the show. So now here's the new deal. We've put together ONE SICK-ASS KICKED IN YOUR FACE RETAWDED metal/hard rock show. There is a posting about this show in the Devin Townsend Band forums as an announcement.

However...the cool thing is that the DT DVD Devin is referring to...some of the live phootage will be taped during their performance at a Food4Music show they're playing Sunday, May 30th at Richards...so be there!! It's going to be packed :)

Great idea! I also think that for the concert, you could add and substract some songs to give it that "DVD'ish special glow" that works wonders for us sorry bastards that have yet to attend a DT-concert...

How about a cover song or two...

Ween: Little Birdy (metal stylee) would be good, or one of their country songs...piss up a rope?

SYL/ZH in May? Where? fer sure?

*orgasm*

All I have to add is that you MUST include a bunch of hidden shit on the DVDs to use up any leftover room on them. (Backstage footage, completely useless and irrelevant crap...anything.. just make sure they are 100% completely full).

5.1 audio is a must... video clips are a must... obviously live footage is a must.. (a few complete sets as well as various individual clips) sexy packaging is a must...

I'd really love to see into the crazy world of devin so the more 'extra' footage the better.

I'm too lazy and tired to read all of this thread at the moment, but the CD/s, ideally, shouldn't have any of the same audio as the DVDs.

Personally, along with the videos and proshot live footage, I'd really like to see a film on the making of an album...you know studio footage like a documentary on the Terria sessions or the Ocean Machine sessions with Devy and band commentary. It'd be cool to let us see the songwriting/practice sessions along with the recording/mixing process.

hi, IRUHL...

I doubt that he recorded any video of studio footage. Atleast, I haven't heard of any. But I think the concept is a solid one for dvds. Maybe for a future release we could get a making of dvd with the album.

Although, you never know with mr. dev. he could've had all this mapped out years ago and recorded some studio stuff ;)

It'd kick ass. That's all.

taking a dump, stepping outside for a "smoke", puking, fighting, getting busted etc.

If that's what you're after, why not buy a 'Jackass' dvd?
