What was the last thing the drummer said before he was kicked out of the band?
- Hey guys, I have an idea for a song...

Ditto.... except for the sticks part. But couldn't part with my fave pedal. It's like a true extension of my very own foot :amen:
I really miss drumming though. Once it gets you - it sticks right in your soul. Got to get back to it.

No shit, there´s no cure for the "drummer syndrome", tapping and fiddling with pens, sticks or fingers on desks etc... it never goes away. According to my gf I play air drums with my feet in my sleep. :)

Very true. I haven't played drums for at least 8 years, put I do "air drum" every day. Weird shit. Once a drummer - always a drummer, I guess.

I'm a guitarist, but I'm always drumming my fingers and slapping my thighs. Maybe I should take up drumming. Or buy some lederhosen.

Too conscious to air drum - guilty of car drumming.
Only problem, the kick drum is on the wrong side :?
But how handy is it having both the snare and hats compacted on the steering wheel

One foot on the gas and one on the break? Now that car would move very funny if you airdrummed to, say, Home nucleonics.

Been drumming for close to two years now. I've never been in a steady band (as a drummer, anyway), but i've played local shows with various local bands. I guess i'm known as "the replacement" around town, because most of the local bands only call me when their drummer is sick or something. My main influence is Neil Peart, he's really the reason why I became interested in drumming. Others would be Buddy Rich, Keith Moon, Brann Dailor (Mastodon), Dave Lombardo, Gene Hoglan, Richard Christy, Nicko Mcbrain, and quite a few more.
