You, my good sir, have obviously never played a Hondo. Impossible to like and near impossible not to destroy. You can find one in near every crappy pawn shop or music store in the world. It'll be a poorly tuned acoustic with uneven frets, annoyingly high action, rusty strings and a sound like a rusty trombone.

That guitar has crushed the souls of many an aspiring guitarist.

Heh, I don't think I've ever even heard a single full Deftones song  I went through ESP's models on the site and this guitar seemed exactly what I was looking for :) Shame they don't make a non-signature one though. A hundred euros or so off of the price and that guitar would most likely be a top seller 8)

While i own four ibanez guitars and swear by them - I picked up a PRS in a guitar shop that my girlfriend worked at years ago, and it's was pure sex for my hands. I was instantly a much better player. Incredible. However - it was incredibly expensive and if it wasn't for my girlfriend at the time the store people would not have let me anywhere near it.

I have to say that it is, still to this day, the best guitar I have ever had the pleasure of playing.

I love the old-school Washburn DimeSlime Signature Model.

About 8 years ago I was in a little shop in Belfast playing a second hand goldtop PRS. That was the best guitar I ever played. Of course I couldn't afford it as I was only 17 at the time, but that felt good. I've played other PRS guitars since then and they've not been anywhere as good.

That's because in the last 5 years or so PRS has made more and more of it's guitars via assembly line and stuff. It used to be that they were all hand-made which led to such remarkable quality.

Hmmmm. I have a 1996 PRS Custom 24 and a 2002 PRS Custom 24. The 2002 has the same remarkable quality that the 1996 has, which has withstood 8 years of A LOT OF playing remarkably well.

As an afterthought, I think I slightly overused the word remarkable here :)

ESP have some great guitars but overall i prefere B.C Rich guitars because they have such a 'metal' sound and some insane designs... I bought a B.C Rich Beast a few months back and was well impressed with the sound even though it's quite difficult to play.

I love my LPs but I have a Dean USA Hardtail that is easily the best guitar that I've ever laid hands on.

Cool! Is it any good? What did you pay? Tell me more! I'm still interested in a 7 string... but I can't decide which one I want.

It´s fine, neck is not the usual Ibanez-Jackson what people usually seem to prefer but more strat like. High frets and stuff. I got it cheaply shipped Ebay from NY and I ended up paying for shipping, taxes and shit 360 pounds so I an happy with the purchase.

It has decent hardware (seynour duncan,Spezrel and shit) so it stands above the usual korean child labor shit. Biggest reason i clicked ¨Buy It Now¨was the statement ¨Seymour Duncan Jeff Beck and ´59 pickups¨which kick ass.

get one on ebay, they are rediculously expensive if you buy then from a shop.
