Isis - Panopticon

Blackfield (Steve Wilson sideproject)

Both are great.

Any more details on the New Isis?
Is it a step forward from Oceanic? I've almost bought it twice now but cancelled it because my selfish girlfriend decided to have a birthday soon and i need the money :D

I think it's pretty great. There is a definate progression with the music and with the song writing. So far I like this one the best out of their albums and I loved Oceanic. I actually get a very strong Tool vibe from the album in some places. So, I don't want to give away too much before you hear it, but it's good and worth the money.

I think that it also has been very much inspired by GYBE, just like Cult of Luna must have been inspired by that band as well for their new Album.

"brutal death metal" it's been deemed as, though Metal-Archives are usually somewhat off the mark (ie calling Kataklysm "brutal technical death metal", which is kind of akin to saying Def Leppard are "math grind").

All the bands there are pretty much variants of death metal from "brutal" to regular and old school. Different nationalities - Polish, American, Mexican, French,

I recently bought Gary Lucas' Chinese pop album, and Ayreon's Into The Electric Castle (2 reasons, my guitar teacher (and dean) plays on this album, and Devin sung on his newest album, so it must be cool music :))

the Personal Jesus video is on my copy...it´s in the Extras and Soundtracks section or whatever it´s called. Also you´ll find 3 bonus videos on the DVD (a fake autopsy video, a performance video for Disposable Teens and a Making Of for mOBSCENE). Well but then again it depends if you bought the x-rated version. If the S(aint) Video is on the DVD, the rest should be there too. If not then you probably got the the wrong version. I´m not sure anyways if the S(aint) video is meant for 15 or 16 year old eyes...just kidding
