Sigur Ros - Von
Public Image Ltd - The Greatest Hits, So Far

And a bunch of Devy stuff arrived this morning (Christeen EP - very f'ing cool, Ass Sordid I & II - interesting stuff, especially I, and the bootleg - also good).

Pretty exciting to be getting some new Devy, even if it is old.

I saw the Dream Theater CD and DVD but decided not to buy them. I found the SFAM DVD a bit disappointing - too similar to the studio release and I can't take much of James La Brie's singing. I did, however, get to see John Petrucci pull some hella silly faces. As an aside I've just been eating some Brie.

I got to watch an hour of it last night and it's simply incredible. The sound, the type of film they used. Best DT DVD yet.

The second disc has so many extras, including some stuff from Petrucci's Rock Discipline. And speaking of Petrucci...he just gets better and better, if that's even possible. He's a god.

I'll tell ya what, they put on a phenomenal show.
I won tickets and went when they were touring for Scenes from a Memory (I think)
It was a really great time. Probably a good dvd too, I would imagine.

They do Mel. :) I saw them twice during their SFAM tour. The first show was early in the tour with Star People (who?) and The Dixie Dregs. They played the entire album and followed with other material, then the second time was a little bit of everything. I think Spock's Beard opened for them for that one...I get the shows confused with each other sometimes.

Exactly! The Dixie Dregs were really cool I thought. And I remember the Star People being quite odd... All in all that was a great time

Legion from Zimmer's Hole and the Dev Official bootleg were ordered on Friday, should be here within a few more days, I also ordered the Electric Masada CD around a week to a week and a half ago, so it should be here soon as well.

Any more details on the New Isis?
