Except for anger. It's great for sarcasm as well, though it isn't an emotion.

Makes modern "imperialism" seem like a blip on the radar in terms of longevity. The British empire was pretty vast, but that only lasted, what... 300 years max?

Now I want to play Civ!

Playing Civilization always makes me wonder where we failed as a species, since I'm usually launching spaceships around 1850 AD. :P

Just looking through my old music that I haven't listened to in ages, and I found an old cd I never finished making on garage band back in the day. I made a fake band using Herbert the pervert from family guy, and gave him a nickname and then made other characters that went along with it. Horrible execution on my part, but a funny idea I think. Maybe someday I'll finish it and do a good job

So, got back after eight days in Byron Bay last night.
I saw whales jumping out of the sea, exotic spiders, lizards, birds, naked hippies; enjoyed beach walks, good food, some strenuous hiking; went to bed at reasonable hours and woke up to lovely dawns, and got to spend some quality time with my other half.

Good to be back home, though.

Fantastic mate, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

interesting. A movie that I just recently bought, probably 1 week ago or so, has just been banned in Germany. Of course I'm glad I didn't wait another week. But why don't them government controlled dickwads burn a couple of books too while they're at it? Assholes.

Which one? I now wish to see this movie.

a french movie called 'La horde'. Kind of a zombie movie. It's not even all that great. It's an OK movie, I guess. It is pretty bloody and gorey but I didn't see anything that would justify a ban!

WHAT?! They banned THAT?

I actually have that movie and you're right, it's gory but nothing special; I have seen far more violent and disgusting zombie movies in my day, and I'll agree The Horde is not deserving of a ban, anywhere (well, in the so-called open-minded Western world). It's like your government is trying bubble-wrap the population against the tiniest bit of red.

What's the story with Germany and banning everything in sight? :?

Currently pondering why some people seem to have such a hard time remembering that there are at least two sides to every story. I'm not too bothered by it. All is well here. I just don't get some people.

Aaaanyhow, what do I make for my friend who is coming over for dinner?
