The Real Thing was my first metal-esque vinyl (as opposed to shitty cassettes - who thought they were a good idea?).

Soilwork- 'The Living Infinite'.
Easily their best release for quite some years. I'm only a few tracks in but holy fuck. It's exceptionally, exceptionally good. :D

This. I was never a huge fan, but I picked it up today and was amazed.

I don't feel like the instruments really add anything to the song in this cover, which is a bit sad after hearing their debut CD last year, but holy shit those vocals. :shock: Russell Allen is absolutely amazing.
