So... does anyone here like Macklemore? All my friends are gaga over him, and I just... don't get it. It's great he has good messages in his songs like Same Love, but lord. Beyond that and some good beats he is just... not good. He's like a tone deaf white hipster who can't seem to rhyme whatsoever. Thrift Shop, if I could take his vocals out, would be good but beyond that... I just don't understand at all.
Anyone clue me in (though I doubt many of the musical tastes on here listen to him )?

So we were at a gas station and the attendant asked where we were from. Canada. Then he says "You like rock?" "Roosh?" What is Roosh? Oh Rush! I tell him yes i like Rush. Then he goes on to name the only other Canadian band he knows and blows my mind... he says. "Day-Bin Town-Send" Huh??? Haha Devin Townsend! Out of all the Canadian Music this guy know Rush and Devin Townsend! I told him Devin was from my home town of Vancouver and he was stoked...
