The fact that I spam this place on a pretty much daily basis shows I'm more comfortable here than in all other aspects of reality.

I can see the point on how the longtimers on the forum can sometimes be inclusive, and I agree with the sentiment of us being more welcoming. I try to be as much as possible, but there's always room for more.

A NEW DAWN FOR THE FORUMS AWAITS!!!!!

:D I kid, I kid.

well, when there's a bunch of people that have been in touch for years on here then it's only natural that there's inside jokes. It's kind of like with any of your friends. You and your friends joke around a lot at a party but that shouldn't keep anyone else from enjoying the party. That doesn't keep me from getting to know new people or people from getting to know me. If I'd let that hamper me then I'd never ever get to know new people.

I don't think anyone treats new members badly here or makes them feel like they're n00bs or whatever and don't deserve to be treated with the same respect as anyone else. I mean, I've been on here since 2004. Really...who gives a shit? I don't. Neither should anyone else.

I've always felt like part of what makes this message board so much fun is the familiarity. You feel like you meet people on here that you could have a beer with in real life. And hey, many of you did have a beer or two (hundred) together and you may have never gotten to know each other if it wasn't for this place.

It's like Lars in reverse - hair on his face but no-where else. And a bear.

don't forget the chest. But my chest is 5 times more hairy than this!

So no white Christmas again this year. Last year and the year before we did have some snow but it was all brown by Christmas eve. Fuck you, winter! You're a real cunt!

At least you don't have to worry about summer. Granted it's meant to be relatively cool on Xmas for us - the weekend before is going to be hot as hell, though. Fuck you Sunday, and your Borg-ship temperature.

4-6 minus degrees around here nowadays, with a good ol' -10 at night. Hopefully the snow will stick around until the holidays are over. Then, it can melt as far as I am concerned. :P

^True contrast, the past week until today has been spring temperatures.

Non-weather related thought: I really want to quit my job. If I had a sure thing waiting for me afterwards, I'd do it. I just need to find one first.
