As with Ocean Machine not too long ago, suddenly out of nowhere Terria is growing on me. I'm finally beginning to like it enough to listen to it. Previously I just liked (read: loved) Deep Peace and that's it.

Maybe it's because it's fall?

Terria is the best.

Literally.

Why does nobody want to go see Anneke with me tonight? It's a free ticket, for fuck's sake.

Dutchies, if you can make it to Den Bosch by 8:45 tonight, the ticket is yours.

You live in a tiny country, and it's THE ultimate travelling album.

I think it would be perfect for a Woodstock 69 type festival or something just out in the middle of nowhere. :)

To me, the riff structure goes perfectly with the movement of trees passing by on the road, or on train tracks.

I had a dream last night that Ocean Machine and Terria were both big books, with black covers and weird 70's text. Gene Hoglan was riding a guitar like a surfboard on OM, where Terria had no illustration.

My subconscious is weird.

Huh. I'll have to listen to Terria on the drive home Sunday.

In other news, I was at Target today and had an incredibly weird interaction. Do I was at Target, and this younger Indian guy about my age comes up to me and asks: "Do you know what Organized Gang Stalking is?" I tell him that no, no I do not. He then goes on to tell me that this is something perpetrated by cults where they continually torment their victim. He tells me that he is a victim of this and that, 24/7, his phone is tapped, his computer is being hacked into, and a GPS is planted on his car.

My first thought was, "oh I must have finally met _oppuld" but after that passed I realized I was dealing with a heavily paranoid schizophrenic individual. He goes on to tell me that this cult goes so far as having cars cut him off on the road constantly, people get in his personal space in stores to drive him crazy, and he's constantly being followed. I just kept staring at the guy and nodding, having no idea how to get the fuck away from him. He eventually says, "look it up on Google. It's a cult." And I see that as my window to say "Well, good luck with that" and walk away. O_O

So yeah, quite weird. And when I walked back by the aisle about 45 min later he literally had not moved. I looked it up on Google too, apparently this isn't a delusion only this guy had. Plenty of online stories about it...

He's probably in Denver, looking for a subterranean nuclear silo run by government-financed Nazis.

Studying for my math exam apparently made me discover black metal! How fun and not depressing at all. You guys should all check out Cor Scorpii and Windir if you can. But you will, anyway.
