There's a few songs I love from Chickenfeather. Of course, my favorite, Bring On The Young, didn't make this tournament. And Chickenfeather would've kicked so much more ass if it was in the style of Idom.

chickenfeather is better than HAARHT and the new black imo.
it doesnt have any weak song in it, and contains some great gems like force fed, bring on the young, aftermath and consequence.
it has some animalistic energy in it, which is unique in townsend's discography.

Here's my thoughts heading into this round:
-You guys eliminated some of my favorites (Gaia and Namaste, in particular) that I probably would've voted into the Elite 8, if not farther.
-After this round, there will only be one song from Deconstruction left in the bracket. Just let that sink in for a minute.
-All Hail The New Flesh wins the award for "Biggest asskicking" in round one, although Almost Again's romp over Happy Camper was pretty close to that margin (and quite surprising, to boot).
-Truth vs. Seventh Wave in a cinderella battle of the openers from the first two solo albums? OH SHIT.
-Similarly, the Earth Day/Deep Peace and Color Your World/The Greys deathmatches have come into fruition. And the winners will take each other on in the Sweet 16 O_o

Yeah, The Way Home being eliminated made me sad too, but I was expecting Mighty Masturbator to win by a mile (or 1.56 kilometers). I haven't actually voted yet. There's a few I can vote on right now, but I'm going to have to listen to a lot of these again (oh, the humanity!), because some matchups are just dead-even right now.

Both of them lost in a very narrow vote. I think Blackberry lost by 2 votes, and Bad Devil by 3.

ALSO. I am putting together the Ass-Sordid championships, and I need to make sure I have all my bases covered. So if anyone can compile a complete list of stuff that needs to be included, that would be great. I am going to make a rule and say that demos from songs already released on albums will be excluded from this. For example, things like the Juular demo from Contain Us will not be included unless I see sufficient reason for it. There's also the question of what to do with other songs Devin has written some parts to, but all the music. For example, Sex & Religion, as well as Ayreon's "The Human Equation."
