a lot of tough decisions; too many good songs will be eliminated the 1st round that don't deserve to be.

love the idea for a 2nd round for all the bonus/demo songs; there are a lot of gems there. i'm thinking the regionals would be assorted demos & punky; project EKO, hummer & devlab; christeen EP & contain us; everything else. don't like pairing up christeen & contain us cuz they're so far apart but how else will that work?

I had no idea how close those matches would be. Last time I checked, four of the matches had a difference of one vote, and the only ones that have run away with it are Supercrush, Ki and Feather (the top 3 seeds of that regional). As a whole, that regional is quite exciting, although the Physicist Regional is home to a lot of the Cinderellas right now.

I always have this fascination with doing tournaments for just about everything, and finding this website which lets you do your own brackets without having any other complicated bullshit involved pretty much made my day. This was very fun to put together. I'm just hoping for a little more publicity for this tournament. I'm not sure what else I can do other than post it to Devin's facebook and twitter pages (I know the facebook page is useless, but maybe a few others might see it there). Maybe I should contact MetalSucks or something

The results are not really the problem. People have different tastes and opinions, BFD! If your opinion loses it usually does so to a good competitor.
The problem is with choice between Feather and Stand, for example. Or Deconstruction and Ki. Or Coast and Numbered...

Which reminds me: Any ties that exist after the polls close will result in a one-day OVERTIME vote. And if there's still a tie, then I'll have to come up with an alternative means, probably a coin flip. And it's going to be a fun coin flip, because I've never flipped a Euro coin before
