I moved into my new place today! Today was also the first time I saw the inside for myself and met my roomies! Full on.

I HAVE A BATCAVE. The ground floor is just the garage and stairs, but at the back of the garage is a door, and behind that door is my huuuuge barren room! This also renders it pretty much soundproof which is great, especially being a sound design student, and although I don't have aircon it's pretty cool down here so I don't really mind. I share with a girl studying fitness, a guy doing engineering and another girl who is paying rent but hasn't moved in yet so no one knows who she is, the other two are lovely though. Everything is so close! And I'm just getting a hang of how the transport system works here so hopefully soon I'll be able to make my way around easily, coz pretty much everyone I know lives about 1hr+ away from here. Bring on the good times!

My partner who is handy with a wacom tablet also made me a cute 'Not-So-Single Awareness Day' card with the standard whinge about commercialist bullshit inside and pictures of us envisioned as zombies on the front. What a darl.

I might be moving up in my position in about a month if I play my cards right. Not bad, considering it's only been about six weeks since I started.

Is it only on my computer that this forum is really slow, and sometimes not loading properly (like not loading the styles)? I keep having the same problem at my university as well as where I live. DO NOT LIKE.

I have a few stalls and just blank white screens that won't reload properly in work today... That could just be this computer as well though. Once General Error doesn't appear to drill the broken server troops then we'll be grand!

no you are not the only one, Mark. I had a few blank screens too recently. And sometimes this place is still slow. Not quite sure why that is since this place was moved to a new server

Yeah, I got locked out for ages earlier as well cos it just froze every time I put in my name and password... I'll have to see how well it runs on my laptop when I get home.
