I see the merits (and weaknesses) of both Waters and Gilmour. Waters created the Final Cut, and Gilmour A Momentary Lapse of Reason, which are both, imho, some of the weaker albums in the Pink Floyd discography. As for the Division Bell it has it's moments but for me it can't hold a candle to Wish You Were Here, Dark Side of the Moon, or Meddle. As for Barrett, I deeply respect his contributions to the band, but find myself far preferring what Gilmour gave the band after he joined.
