I'm not often here lately, so short summary of stuff I listen (or try to) to recently. With OPINIONS:

Scarve - everything I own by them
I really, really love this stuff. Can't help it, it's just glorious ball of noise with strangely cold-wavey tinge. Fun fact: there's short ambienty hidden piece on zero track before "Mirthless Perspectives" on "Irradiant", learned it after mere six years of owning the record. If you have a copy check it out - you can extract it with EAC. Which you probably won't, since nobody listens to that shit. I'm pretty convinced I own only copy of Irradiant in Eastern Europe. Can I get a honorary t-shirt?

The Orb - Orbus Terrarum

This doesn't even sound like electronic music, it's more like live jam on another planet. There's slide guitar, big drums, Alex Paterson playing a piano and lots of unspecified sounds - played all together at the bottom of hydrogen sea on Jupiter. Classic record. Was pretty disappointed after seeing them "live" with their oonce oonce laptop set.

Textures - Dualism
Yep, it's great. Daniel the vocalguy is incredible and stuff's even better than usual.

Anubis Gate - s/t
Impulse buy after seeing them at metalsucks. It's nice, melodic stuff with good vocals. Vocalist has gigant mouth. Plus it's only $6 at label's internet store.

Uneven Structure - Februus
Impulse buy after seeing the cool teaser on youtube and realizing I can buy things from Basick records bandcamp page. No opinion, can't get past the third song.

Chimp Spanner - that first record and then the second one
Impulse buy after noticing I can finally buy Chimp's mp3s without having iTunes. This guy seriously knows what he's doing huh.

Apologies.

I think I'm really liking Electric Six. The texts seem quite often pretty dumb, but the singer's got a great voice and the songs are always pretty uplifting, great.
