I love that scream! I was hearing it several times a day at one point. It played every time my metal-loving friend texted me. Got a bit grating after a while, though...

I skip the end scream of Things beyond Things. I realize that the intention is probably there to ruin your soothing experience from the song, but I hate it regardless.

man i love babysong, switching from a major to a minor key is genius. i also cut out the "things" scream as well as some of the long ambient bits at the beginning & end of "death of music" and a few others. if i want to listen to the full songs (occassionally, but rare), i still have the cds.

I do like "Olives", but I do skip it often. But I don't really count it so much as a song, it's more of just an intro
track/set up thing. I don't know. *shrugs*

I was thinking about this today, and it just occurred to me that I doubt approach Devin's music as individual songs, for the most part. When I want to listen to Dev, I usually want to listen to an entire album. If I'm in the mood for "Deadhead," I listen to 'Accelerated Evolution.' The only time I listen to individual songs is when my iPod is on shuffle, or if I want to let someone else listen to a specific song. I usually don't skip anything on my iPod when it shuffles because if I don't like a song, it won't be on my iPod. lol

none taken. i feel the same way when people say away or deadhead are their favorite songs and at the same time say slow me down is one of their least favorite. i couldn't disagree more but it's all a difference of opinion.
