If it has become "racist" or a crime to call people by the colour of their skin, no matter the tone of your voice, and express a view that you don't want to be flooded with immigrants of whatever skin colour, then we are truly doomed.

A few years back my little brother got beat up in school by two middle-eastern kids. He yelled something like "fuck you" after and only my little brother got detention. Treating all people as equal and judging them by the same rules would be kinda nice gaia, don't you think? Well to get there everyone, you included, needs to get past such meaningless trifles as skin colour.

There is a difference between referring to people by the colour of their skin (I have friends who are black, I have friends who are white. See what i did there? nothing offensive or inflammatory in that statement?) and abusing people on the basis of the colour of their skin. Or nationality, religion, gender, sexuality, yadda yadda.

If you truly believe the problems this country, and the world is facing are due to there being too many people of different skin colour to you, then you are misguided, naive or not very bright. possibly all three.
