Talk about other artists here (even though they all rip off Meshuggah)

It's fucking fantastic, this! Really excellent sort of stripped-down, bare-bones acoustic jazz. Love how they progressed from this through their various other albums up to the lunacy of Blackjazz. What a band...

i've spent the last 3 or 4 years actively NOT listening to depeche mode. today i lift the ban and can once again enjoy them without spasmodic laughter and self-loathing.

It's not up on Youtube unfortnately, but:

Kitezh - 'Brother Gnargalzious Slays the Jabberwocky'.

Mmmmm proggy goodness. It's naaaais.
Kinda like, if Mastodon's 'The Hunter' had sex with Slough Feg's 'Atavism'- it'd sound like this, and be written by a band with a fixation with giant squid.
Aaand you can download if for free if you like. S'all good. :D

currently reworking this song to be about eating too much today. "I've had all the food I can taaaaaaaaaaake. All the food I can tAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaake. To feed me now is a grand mistake, I've had all the food I can take! CHEST PAIN!"

The two tracks they have on their website:
Leprous - Passing
Leprous - Dare You

Listen to the full album on Spotify or Grooveshark or wherever. It's pretty awesome. The singing parts are a bit odd sounding, they remind me of Andy Rehfeldts Radio Disney Version songs, lol... but the music is great. Definitely worth at least one listen.

They're the band that were used as Ihsahn's backup session musicians at Bloodstock (and probably elsewhere for other gigs). Really really good musicians.
