Trust me, go for that instead if you have to do only one. Dev's prolly going to just do his CoB set.

There are plenty of exciting local bands worth seeing. Problem with Palladium gigs is the promoter very rarely books those. He has a reputation for nepotism and scene loyalty taking priority over anything else. It's happened that bands find out the perfect tour for them is coming through, are informed there will be no openers, then stand in the audience watching a god awful metalcore band fall flat with a prog or doom crowd.

that's not just the palladium, that happens every where

The Periphery show coming up was 4 bands, and I was all for it, then they added 2 local openers. Wasn't 4 bands enough?

I think I'm with you on this, haven't been to the chance in ages, not really looking forward to it, but looks like the only option to see a headlining set.

Don't get me wrong, I love Earth Crisis and old Sepultura, but I'm not into Dev opening yet again

Just bought my VIP ticket to the CO Springs show... owie. The only other show I've spent this much on was Metallica a few years ago, but Dev is totally worth it-- far more worth it than Metallica. Ended up having to decide to not buy my girlfriend a ticket to the VIP, but at least she'll still be coming to the regular show. Was hoping she could share in the VIP, but hey, what can ya do.

Anybody else going to the CO Springs show or the VIP? I'll be all by my lonesome for the VIP, so I'll need friends :D

Honestly I would love to go see Devin in New York again but sadly finances won't comply. I do like mushroomhead, psychostick (if their still on the bill), earth crisis, and cavalera, so it looks like i'll be seeing the rock and shock show (even though i'd much rather go and see a headline gig). Plus little Devin is better then no Devin.

psychostick is still on the bill, they still have it in their announced dates. The Palladium will more than likely be doing an upstairs/downstairs show, with any bands (including the contest winners) playing upstairs.

Well it would appear that The Ocean is going to be direct support to Dev on the US tour! Just announced by Dev via Twitter. While I'm not a huge fan, most of the albums I've listened to from them I just haven't been able to get into, I think it's a great choice and is a really fitting opener. And once again Dev shows his awesomeness by doing them a solid and giving them a tour after they lost theirs. Cool stuff.

I haven't really looked into their work, because based on their "sounds like" profile listings, I've just never bothered. That said, I am glad their tour ended up working out.

Nope, not necessarily true. Our good friend Dan and his band The Omega Experiment will be opening in Grand Rapids.

Ugh, I keep getting different answers from different people. I'm guessing then that the three first shows, which are smaller will probably have local bands?

I can just say that Dan is selling tickets for Grand Rapids and Detroit personally.

I will go for Dev and Cavalera Conspiracy, and that's it. I wonder what the band order will be though...

According to the picture posted on Devy's twitter and the "trailer video" posted earlier, there's a show in Vancouver at the Commodore (ballroom, not theatre) but there's no info on the Commodore's website, nor is it listed on HevyDevy.com

Does anyone know what's up with this?
