If Terria and OM were released, i'd buy them immediately.

What would be the reason to just not release the two albums of your catalogue your fans admire most?

It isn't Dev holding them back, it's the company producing them. In this case, Century Media is the one doing Terria and OM. Back on Black did the others. Devin isn't even really part of the process. If you read the first post, you can see that he was told it was happening:

Ok so you can check the FB back on black page and here is an update. ( sort of)
Some guy asked them :

Niels Paridon
Any chance of you releasing Devin Townsend's "Ocean Machine: Biomech"? I'd love that on vinyl, and I'm sure I'm not the only one :)

I'd love have Terria on vinyl. The artwork that size too.... ^____^

Hope it happens far away enough from the pre-orders for Decon and Ghost :P

Cool, so there is still hope...! I wonder how much $ Devin gets from these vinyl sales (as compared to a CD, etc, I know they haven't exactly sold thousands and thousands of copies of the vinyls)...?

I would REALLY like to see the upcoming stuff on vinyl, at least Ghost and Decon, I know doing the box set probably wouldn't be feasible... but Ghost and Decon would possibly be triple-vinyl, and I'm just imagining a triple-gatefold cover and the possibilities that would bring from an art and liner notes perspective.

Just thought id let you;ll know that a red ziltoid vinyl is now available a the PHD store. With back on black once they finish 500 or 1000 of the first colour , they do another colour or black. the black ones are usually never limited. I assume they sold 1000 ziltoid vinyl and now they have a red one.

this will happen with all devy releases that sell a lot on vinyl.

Cool, although I would prefer only black vinyl, they stand better the test of time (sound quality wise).

Have anyone heard any news regarding Ghost, Deconstruction, Terria, Ocean Machine vinyl? On Back on Black schedule section there`s no info.

nope, no 2xLP pressings — and no reason to, as side 1 runs about 18 mins and 2 runs about 20 mins. don't buy!

Thanks for the heads up. Although I disagree there is a need. A 45rpm would likely fit onto a double but with the source material being suspect, it is certainly unnecessary. Wonder why if someone was going to bootleg a record, they would choose city?

The box set comes with the CD too, so it's probably just a misunderstanding.
