When do they announce when the meet and greet is? I assume we'll recieve an e-mail but was just wondering how soon before the show we'll have to be there.
I'm still looking for a time when the meet and greet is. I'm goin to the Pittsburgh show, so if anybody knows anything, let me know.
I don't think anyone knows yet man, as much as we'd like to. I have a feeling Crowdsurge will sandpit out a few days before the show. If I had to guess I'd say it'd be 2-3 hours before doors, which is based on nothing more than my own dumb brain.

is 2-3 hours before the show for any gig around the time for meet n greets? or only on some shows. im going to the london shows, so im hoping the band may be sauntering around before hand.
By Your Command....
Like I said, I'm just completely blindly shooting in the dark. A complete guess. I'm just imagining that you'd need at least an hour for the meet and greet and at least an hour of venue set up after m and g people leave. But perhaps someone should weigh in who's actually been to one before
I think someone said in the Evening With+DVD topic what general time it started before, so might wanna sift through that.

It's likely to be different gig by gig, as not even every show starts at the same time. When I had a VIP in October of last year, the doors opened at 7, the show started at 8 (Tesseract that is) and we were told via emial to be at the venue by 4, but we didn't end up going in til 5:30 or so.
So just wait for your email, all this speculating isn't really going to figure it out.

But it gives you something to meaninglessly ramble about, yes?

I got an email yesterday to be at the venue an hour before the show starts. So that answers my question.

Yep, same here. Can't wait!
What do you get out of the meet and greet(besides meet) and how much is it?
I'm thinking of getting a pair for me and the wife for the Chicago show.

Too late broseph, you're shit out of luck. They're not selling any more of them.

After missing out on the meet and greets on the previous tour (where Devin played an acoustic show) I decided that I NEEDED to go to the next meet and greet that came around. Even when I found that the VIP tickets were $100+, I jumped on them. As the show date grew nearer, I started to question whether it was really a smart idea to shell out all that cash just to shake Devin's hand. After meeting him this Saturday at the Poughkeepsie show... the answer is a resounding YES!
As much as I know about Devin from reading around online, I still never imagined he would be as gracious and as humble as he was. Giving out autographs, taking pictures with fans, and just hanging out, he really made everyone there feel like we were doing him a personal favor by paying for the VIP tickets. It was very apparent that he was exhausted, and that signing posters and shaking hands wouldn't be his first choice for spending a few free hours before an intense show, but he definitely gave 110% from the time I shook his hand until the Deep Peace encore...
I just wanted to say thanks to Devin for being such a cool dude, and wanted to let any real fans know that if you're on the fence about doing it the next time around and you have the cash, just do it, you will definitely not be disappointed.
