There was a guy next to me with a video camera recording most of the Newton Abbot show. Not sure if he posts on here or not, though. There were also plenty of people recording on camera phones.

Okay... time to get my shit together and write a proper summary. I am SORRY this is such a long piece. Sooo at 8, Tuesday morning, I left my house with nothing but my handbag, heading for the airport! After a flight (GOD I LOVE TAKE OFF AND LANDING) and a train ride (not too fond of train toilets...) I met up with Lettuce, Mika, Ctfod and DevinJayLiebe and two other girls. Dev tweeted me saying he would be at the venue around 5. But he got stalled due to him aspiring for a model career. Also... we could hear the soundcheck perfectly form the women's restroom.

Then he came out and said hi before he headed east for a photo shoot, and turned back up from west, while we were in the queue. Then we fed him and entered the venue, where he ALSO was. Spooky! We all shamelessly showed off all the dorky things we made - Violet winning with her epic o-face sculptures. Then we had to stop ranting and give some attention to Dave McPherson - who I think is the best warm-up artist I've seen! A really nice bloke too. Dev's show was EPIIIIC. I'm just gonna let the uploaded videos speak for themselves. At the end of the gig me and Violet got a shout-out from Dev on stage, for making epic shoops that were on a slideshow.

After the gig we talked to Dev about... I don't remember.. and I got my bag signed because.. uh... I HAVE NO IDEA. I don't get the whole autograph obsession, but it's FUN. XD Then we went to chat with Mike at the merch store. Bottom line: Mike is awesome! Said some final words to Dev before we left for the club where Dev was DJ-ing. It was about 32 celsius degrees in there - spiced up with being whipped with drunk metal head's long oily hair. Dev cranked Enya and Spice Girls among other things, and it was awesome! When was the last time I heard that Spice Girls song again...? Oh, Sunday. Right.

We got back to Violet's at 6 in the morning, and me and her went to Southampton at 10... the same morning. There we met Phase and is brother, and eventually Mike - who invited us into the venue. Like I said, awesome bloke!

Dev eventually showed up for the sound check, while I was cuddling with an adooorable puppy who tried stealing my knitting (a scarf, which at the time looked like a merkin). While Dev was setting up his guitar and the venue was filling up, we all (except for the puppy ) talked about.. stuff! I had serious lack of sleep and was high on caffeine pills, so I had verbal diarrhea, while I can't remember what I actually said. Crap. Then Dave came on stage and was, I think, even better than the day before!

Theeeeeeen Dev came on stage and it was a really niiiiiiice concert. :3 I got Quiet Riot! Yay! Don't know why that was so important to me... I just love that song! AND, the acoustic version of Funeral is the most beautiful thing I have heard in ages (or since Ghost at least!). Theeeen all of a sudden we had to leave. Got a last minute photo with Dev, because I can never seem to remember these things.
For those who don't know (How you could miss that is beyond me): Dev is awesome! I don't know how many times we got hugs, hand shakes and thank yous, but really Dev... THANK YOU!

THEN I had the most epic anti climax. Had to wait for two hours for a bus outside in the cold dark alone without a bench (and without a comma) for the bus to Heathrow. Spent the night at the airport and left 10.30 in the morning, and was back in my house at 16.30. I'd just like to point out that I didn't fuck up this time.

You missed Thriller on loop in the venue while Mike and Paul were setting up! AND MEETING LILY!

Yeah, sorry we dumped you at the coach station so early, I didn't want you walking there and Lily and Chris have to work at 7am XD

I think Mike needs to join the forum [as Two Turntables] he's the life of the party tbh. His Canadian dancemoves were so sharp I nearly cut myself. Why isn't it called The Mike St-Jean Project????

Ah, don't worry about that! My somewhat short skirt didn't exactly keep me warm, so I just walked around to stay warm... like a proper street hooker. Didn't get any offers though. :\ In the end I found that the deserted parking garage across the street had some heat on.
