Dev was IMMENSE today, in both "Fig Newton Abba" and Exeter. At the in-store in Newton Abbot, he played, amongst others, Stagnant and Let it Roll. STANGANT AND LET IT ROLL! It was ridiculously awesome! And after posing for photographs, I noticed his pick sat on top of his Axe-FX, so asked if I could blag it. He kindly let me. This led to a happy Pete! He also signed a ridiculously large pile of CD sleeves and such which I brought along, which made me a very happy man. Also, Mike St-Jean was there, and was very happy to chat and sign my Ghost CD sleeve. Can I just say, Mike is just as much of a gentleman as Dev! Two nicer men you couldn't wish to meet!

After a few drinks, me and my friends poured ourselves into the Cavern, and a mighty fine evening was had by all. Many magnificent songs were sung, including an acoustic "Life" which went down very smooth. And at the end of the night, Dev did another signing. I fancied getting my ticket signed, so I queued up politely (as we Brits love to do) and just before I reached Dev, the guy infront asked him to sign the forehead on the "Devin Townsend Unplugged" CD. As I didn't have my copy with me, I thought it was only right to ask Dev to sign my forehead instead. This was the outcome...



Dev, I said it to you about 5 times tonight, but thanks once again for an incredibly awesome night! It was one of the funniest, most enjoyable singalongs that I have ever had!
