I'm afraid that might be the reason why, yes. :P Cake can't be baked with anger... it has to be baked with luuuuv and happineeeess. This was more like spongy mud.

Oh yeah... I just made a cooking blog... mostly because my sad attempt to make a cook book is just a mess. So uh.. now it's with me everywhere, I can share them with the 5% of my friends who cares, and uh... I can use ctrl+F on it.

I like your cooking blog! Nice photos! I put cooking stuff on my blog, too, but haven't in awhile - you've inspired me. :)

My uncle makes no-knead bread. Tastes fine. To be honest I do the dough making in the bread machine and just bake in the oven. Doesn't taste any different to doing it all by hand and takes a hell of a lot less time.

Making carrot and coriander soup.

My disaster-cake turned out alright after leaving it in the fridge overnight... not just alright... but really good. :| WOW. Don't know how that came to be.

Made a nice stir-fry of courgette and broccoli and noodles and stuff with a passion-fruit and ginger sauce which turned out really well - lots of subtle flavours.

Then added Marie Sharp's Belizean Comatose Heat Level sauce, and couldn't taste any of it.

Hmmm. Bollocks.

Anyway, we had fresh venison and pork livers in a silky paprika and brains sauce. Superb. The difference in taste and texture between dayfresh liver and shop bought is a whole world.
