Talk about other artists here (even though they all rip off Meshuggah)

Month and a half over here. I work some other things in now and then, but I keep going back to those albums. MY PRECIOUS.

Wow, Leech, for a moment I thought you were posting a vid by the band Low, who I used to listen to quite a bit years ago. Low is a super super mellow band from Minnesota, think if I feel like having a full-fledged "Ghost Listening Day" they might fit right in! Enjoyed your post of The Low Anthem, thanks!

Circles - Compass

Impulse purchase - picked it up after seeing the Basick records logo on the cover (not a ordinary sight in music stores in Warsaw). Turns out it's pretty ok djenty thing, with rather good clean vocals and fortunate lack of bad screaming. It's also a proper band with human drummer and they don't rip the Tesseract off too much. Only a little bit.

My favourite track, with neat guitar solo near the end:

I really feel like I should be enjoying this release more than I should...there's something really annoying me that I can't put my finger on

In their earlier demos, the singer reminded me of LaBrie and I couldn't tolerate it. He's changed a bit, so it's much more listenable to me.

Reminds me a bit of the kilswitch engage guy who really annoys me...but there's something else too
