I personally have seen those videos before but not that last one in the bunch.
Jeez! Hahaha, Devin goes completely over-the-top in the end. Never really knew he hated guitars solos THAT much, lol, but of course he does have a point. Guitar solos almost never serve any purpose in a song other than just to show off a player's skill but I do believe there are exceptions.

Yeah those are some great videos, I love it when Devin talks about what inspires him and how he approaches his music since it all stands out from the rest.

I'm soooo happy to hear that 'Starchild Rise' is making a comeback in Deconstruction. I FUCKING LOVE that piece of music.
I might have to stop watching Townsend interviews though. It's become apparent that his purpose when going into interviews is simply to inform people of the intention behind the albums, and maybe talk a little about his headspace going into them... He seems to have a pre-conceived idea of what he wants to get across, rather than give a straight answer to the questions asked. That's not a criticism by any means.

Can't wait for these records.
