Talk about other artists here (even though they all rip off Meshuggah)

Lots of Iron Maiden, Deadmau5 and De La Soul's Stakes Is High. Just not interested in much else at the moment, no idea why.

Enjoying it though.

Yes, yes it is. :D

Crack The Skye would definitely make it into my Desert Island Disc thingy. What a great album.

That's better than anything Sepultura's produced since Max left.

Yup. And its nice to see a trash band that can do a great live performance - I still have nightmares about Slayer in Tuska.

And I love how the backing guitar guy in the red top moshes with his beard.

Funny you should say that.

I've seen them live once at Download, and thought they were pretty good. I've heard two songs; tracks 1 and 2 off of the Inflikted album. I like them both.

I haven't listened to any more than that though, cus I didn't want to 'spoil' any more, in case I buy the album. (I'm very over the top with the whole spoilers thing)

I realised today that they have a new album out soon... but the main thing stopping me from buying them both right now, is the fact that they are both short, especially the new one (under 35 minutes!)

(I've always considered the 'minutes of music to amount of money spent' ratio when buying albums on a tight budget)

So... even though I know your answer already, should I just stop whining about their short-ness and buy them? :P

My my, you are quite the analyzer! Yes, I would say buy them. I understand frugality, but music just makes me so happy, money tends to be not much of an object for me. I think you might enjoy the indulgence! :D

Well, I've never been the BIGGEST Dimmu fan in the world (although they were awesome live), but last night was listening to Death Cult Armageddon, which is a totally amazing album. ...And Progenies of the Great Apocalypse is a fucking masterpiece!

Mmmm Simen Hestnæs... Such a good voice. That's the only Dimmu song I ever thought was good though.

NP: Dev - Away

Giving myself an 8 minute song break to try and relax my brain a bit before launching back into the books again...
