I don't understand all the anger directed at this kid. I mean, he's just a kid. Yeah, his music sucks, but I'm pretty sure that 99% of his music and his life is not even under his control.

I don't understand all the anger directed at this kid. I mean, he's just a kid. Yeah, his music sucks, but I'm pretty sure that 99% of his music and his life is not even under his control.

The music & singing sucks. True. His visage being everywhere also sucks. Neither the first nor the last to have that claim, granted.
His "fans" and people who constantly sing his songs worse than him, whether because they genuinely like the recycled pop crap he performs, or whether they are trolls out to deliberately rape the ears and minds of others, truly make the fury that is directed at him. That, and one can only direct frustration at the likes of Miley Cyrus, Hanson, Kesha, Lady Gag, Jonas Brothers, etc for so long before a new target is sought. Pretty soon he'll be replaced by another focus, maybe even this year. As for his age, I don’t know, perhaps the younger they are the more infuriating it is because more and more kids will be attracted to and try to emulate that image the music industry is trying to make and puppet the youth with, and who better than someone closer to their own age? Misdirected anger at the music industry to summarize, I suppose. Naturally, that’s just my (cynical) opinion.

Since my workplace was moved to more openspacey environment I'm forced to listen to various crappy contemporary-hits radios. And none of them plays any Biebercore, I think we're all a bit above age group for that. He's probably kind of annoying when you're in highschool, but outside of it my only encounters with this dude are internet pisstakes. I think all my djents, progs, IDMs and whatnots are perfectly safe from them in their niches.

That's almost like those mythical Apple-fanboys - maybe they exist somewhere, but all I see are cyclical threads about how fanatical trendy douches they are, without seeing the single specimen.
