Talk about other artists here (even though they all rip off Meshuggah)

I find Ih-Ah gets better with every listen. Bend it Like Bender is good for a laugh.
Been listening to pretty much every one of Devin's albums lately in anticipation for Decon/Ghost.

thanks to Dev, Ihsahn has been my newest ear tickler.
Also Immortal's All Shall Fall album has brought a lot of joy to my days.
Aaand perhaps Dimmu's Abrahadabra isn't so bad after all :)

My new bestsoulmate has awakened my sleeping darker side!

Yes! Ihsahn = ear happiness...and I am SO glad to find another who enjoys Immortal's All Shall Fall album as much as I do, would LOVE to see them on their up-coming tour. And I agree about Dimmu - didn't care too much for Abrahadabra at first, but then saw them play in Portland a few months back and they just blew me away. Great taste in music you have there! :)

On a Dimmu note, I have been completely delved into their orchestral music. Eradication Instincts Defined in particular. I'm working on a project at school making music for a short film, and using orchestra samples from Kontakt 4. It is insane how much epicness there is just by arranging properly and shit. Gaute Storås is a genius.

I've been a Dimmu fan since I was around 16 years old, but it has been on/off-sort of thing.
And like Abydost said, all the infernal and huuuuuge orchestral parts and melodies are the thing that catches me, because they are so .. well, great :D
My musical taste varies a lot, I enjoy music in general, not one or two strict genre only.
But finding Immortal now is a bit shame, but still I am happy that I found it after all :D

But today!
This has been sung to me many times now by a guy who drives me crazy with his awesomeness, and every time he sings this, I get goosebumps and feel oddly calm at the same time.

I quite enjoyed that...
Listening to Napalm Death - always good after a stint of night shifts.

Bane Of Isildur- Black Wings

It's pretty decent, and a progression from their older stuff.
