Hi guys!
I'm off to London this Sunday till Wednesday to attend http://www.PlasaShow.com with a handful of colleagues!
We're gonna stay at a hotel between Kingston and Chelsea.
So, my question is:

Obviously, we're a bunch of (mildly) drunken sound engineers and we've heard a lot about the English pubs! 8)

Which places (pubs, venues, record stores etc) would you guys recommend worth visiting?

Oh by the way, the trade show will be held at Earl's Court!

Camden Town in general is worth a goosey gander, if you wana find a decent present for someone, or just for the "experience". There's lots of (expensive) attractions, like The London Eye, Madame Tussauds, London Zoo, The London Aquarium, Ripley's Believe it or Not, Pasaje Del Teror (GOOD), The London Dungeon (lol I used to work here), The Tower of London etc. And there's also the museums and galleries which are all free, I recommend the Science Museum, it's totally metal 8)

Word of warning as someone who's lived in London her entire life; everything is FILTHY. Even the air. Your bogies will be black at the end of the day. No joke.

Behind Centre Point now, larger, just as sticky and smelly as the old one. Always packed, crap drinks, moody staff.

It's all about Big Red and/or the Crobar! Crobar wins for the drinks, Big Red wins for the food. Both just as metal.

You've probably been and gone by now, but in case you go again check out Cyberdog, The Black Rose, Darkside and Gothic Lolita and Punk for clothes, and The Devonshire Arms/Hobgoblin for pubtimes.
