Bon Jovi - Always http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNecdKd1IG4
Moody Blues - Nights in white satin. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4lazdg-eqmQ
Screamin Jay Hawkins - I put a spell on you http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=orNpH6iyokI
Nick Cave and Kylie Minogue - Where the wild roses grow ... Anneke can join in. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7XbehX3W8N0
Supergrass - Moving http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-koax7HEYnE

.... I could keep going. I guess most of those are Accelerated Evolution types of songs, at least that's the way I'm imagining.
Been listening to that album a lot lately.

Time Flies - Porcupine Tree
pretty much anything on "And Justice For All..." - Metallica
Don't Fear the Reaper - Blue Oyster Cult
Bohemian Rhapsody (I mean - someone's gotta do it properly!)
Pretty much any Rush between their second album and Exit Stage Left. Then any of the last 4 or 5 albums as well! Hahah
Any Yes song in the vein of I've Seen All Good People, Relayer, Heart of the Sunrise, etc etc. You know - their prog stuff! hah
Eagle - Abba (listen to it - it's quite nice actually!)

Did I mention I'm a bit musically eclectic?

Anything from Grotus
Black Metal by Venom (just think he could kill it)
Anything off Sky Valley from Kyuss (interested to hear his take on it)
Vanity Fair by Mr. Bungle (good vocal challenge)
Hello Skinny by the Residents (Primus does a cool version, leads me to believe that every band should do a version of this song)
Dick Around by Sparks (only because I love the song and feel he could do a great version of it)
Another idea I have is maybe covering his own stuff, but as he would do it now (pertaining to old stuff), some great bands have done that.

That would be The Firm. And I don't think that version can be topped in any way. :)

If anyone can do it, he sure can. Just listen to the last minute of "War" and hear some of dev's falsetto. I'm sure theres a better example but yea.

Un-boxing my old CD collection, and I came accross this gem of an album. Hadn't lstened to it in years, but damn, it still kicks ass! Would love to see Dev do this one:

I think it would be great if one of Dev's future projects was just a stripped-down trio. Get a drummer and bassist with some kick-ass harmony vocals and just rock out. No samples, no keys, no overdubs. Just full on power-trio awesomeness. I loves me some power-trio goodness.

Oh, I have a grand idea. I really think this should happen, I WANT it to happen. Devin, doing a cover of David Bowie's "Space Oddity". I can imagine dev's vocals harmonized and doubled over when the song hits in, it would be just astonishing. Even if it ends up on the Ziltoid sequel album, it'd be the best way in my opinion to represent the character of Captain Spectacular 8) .
