The place to speak about Dev's current projects, and everything yet to come

My mates were looking after them all throughout the day they were there filling me in, and honestly- DTP had nothing but bad luck on their way to BOA. It's a miracle they didn't cancel! All of their kit was missing so they had to borrow everything, and they were wearing the same clothes all day. Dev did a stonkingly good job of keeping the crowd psyched while they did the incredibly late sound check, and afterwards he didn't even have time to breathe as it was interview after interview after interview then 100-odd miles down the road straight after to Heathrow to fly back to Canada.
I told RVP that personally, the songs and the performance were so good, the sound issue was irrelevent. They were bands there with better sound that still sounded shit. COUGHCANNIBALCORPSECOUGH

Despite all the problems they managed to put on an amazing show, even my girlfriend who isn't even much of a fan thought that the DTP set was one of the highlights of the festival. Even though Dev was looking extremely rushed and tired in the signing tent I'm still stupidly happy that I managed to get a signature!

Yeah, I thought they put on a great show. The technical difficulties were offset by Devin's good humour. Was pretty cool to hear the background stuff on its own too.
His voice was spot on, I thought, especially noticable during "Kingdom", seems to have improved a lot since the last time I saw him live.

Was among the first to get to the signing tent too. Someone told me that apparently Devin doesn't do signings at festivals very often (as opposed to his own gigs), so the opportunity to meet him and get my program signed was much appreciated. Top bloke.

I think I speak for everyone when I say that the massive DT fans at Bloodstock were just ecstatic to have the band there! It's a big shame there were so many problems for the band members and any other band would probably have given up and cancelled, but Dev kept us entertained with his conversation ("Let's hear it for freaking out!!!")/interpretive dancing (!) and even though the setlist had to be cut short, it was fantastic all the same. Hearing "Life" live was absolutely amazing for me, personally, as that's the song that got me hooked. Despite him having had such a rough time, I really appreciate Devin doing the signing - and even extending it by half an hour so that those right at the back of the queue didn't miss out. What an awesome guy you are! Meeting Devin, shaking his hand, him thanking me for buying the hoody and then signing my Ocean Machine CD sleeve meant that I had a massive grin on my face for the rest of the festival :D All of us in England can't wait for you to come back!

Amen guys, you said it perfect. And thanks for that inside info Lettuce, didn't realise it was that bad... in that case it makes it all the more amazing that it still sounded fairly decent. As someone said on the Bloodstock forum, there was noticebly larger crowds there for his set, and many people saying he should have headlined. I thought that too at the time, so it wasn't just me!

The backing tracks are amazing, hence why i recorded them! They would make epic songs in their own right!

Quality is fairly naff but, I made effort to capture most (if not all) the intro entertainment fun, as I knew it would be classic gold :D .
