Speaking of which, I just got an email from this guy I met at the weekend, just told me he liked the gore makeup I did for the VIP show last night, and he'll let me know when he wants to abuse my fruits of labour. His name was something like....Mikael Akerfluff? Fuzzifelt?

And I've been told that we did such a spiffing job this weekend that we'll be repeating the journey next year Tim got pretty chummy with Mikael over the weekend after looking after Opeth last year too, and as Tim and I are beginning to work on some short film projects together (he's a CGI artist/editor, I'm makeup, props, direction and we're both writing), so maybe in a year's time you'll be seeing an Opeth video made by someone fairly close to home

Finally bought Superior Drummer 2, can't wait to try it out.

I forgot to post it - I've met a praying mantis while being in France. Flew right into my hotel room and let me photograph itself. It's awesome, because I've never seen one (not a common creature in central europe I think).



It was pretty huge and was doing that dancey, swingy moves even when standing in place. Cool :>

Happy once again with the way my first Drum n Bass track is turning out. Had a bit of a mental block for a small while, but made some small tweaks yesterday and my creativity urges are back for it again

And that Praying Mantis is aaawesome. I'd love to see one, especially a wild one and not one held in captivity or something. It was only about 2 years ago that I saw my first fox, and about 6 months ago that I saw a cute little Stoat bobbing its head in and out of its home, before running across that path I was on... Not exactly impressive sightings but I still found it amazing.

Thats another reason I'm wanting a decent pocket camera. Reasonably good gig photo's, and reasonably good nature/animal photo's too

Going to see Deftones and Baroness tonight. Loaded with epic.
