Apparently there's gonna be the Perseid meteor shower thurs night/fri morning so if it's a clear night, look to the skies! :)

Also have any of you guys who're going checked any of the unsigned bands on the New Blood stage? Imo most of them were pretty generic sounding - but ofc they're all young bands who for the most part are yet to find their sound :) Found a couple that I like - I'd say Shrapnel and Credit To Dementia are my favourite out of them - if you haven't already heard em, see what you think:

Not long now!!!!!!!!

Getting my kilt and armour and beard ready for it as we speak.

Weather reports so far have been a little wet looking though - thankfully we're all aware of how unreliable these are.

See ya there folks - gonna be a good weekend

 kilt and armour?! lmao.

Yes sun and clouds might be nice, but who cares about the weather though, this is England, it rains half the year or more sometimes. If it is storming hailstones I will still be loving it.

Devs music fits all weather patterns. :D

Indeed - I figured my kilt would suit it more than ripped jeans.

...You do get some weird looks on the tram wearing it though.

I just hope it doesn't smell like a dead cow when it gets wet though

Incredible! I am so grateful and humbled to have seen my favourite musician ever live!! I got Dev's signature too in the signing tent, but had only a few seconds to convey to him how much his music means to me and how its been the soundtrack to so many important things in my life... so "I'm a massive fan thank you so so much for everything!", or something along those lines came out...
More than anything though, it was really fun! Just a heavy rocking good time full of positive good vibes. As important as Devin is to me, having fun is surely the most important thing!
I'd just like to say thanks to Devin for existing and being himself, and I hope he comes to the UK to tour if he can, as I will surely be there no matter what! I took a few crappy photos too, but I'll upload them tomorrow as I just got back from the festival and am currently about to pass out from exhaustion, hehe. Also seemed to have missed out on this meetup, ah well. Hope you guys had fun. :D

Great time, great show, excellent.

However, as a set, soundwise it was not that great. The sound was imo a tad overblown, and the fine details were getting lost in the noise, and Dev admitted he was jetlagged to hell (hadn't slept). It was a shame they couldn't play more due to the delays too. I just did a rundown of these issues on the bloodstock 2010 forum dev thread.

But as a fan I would have paid to see Dev fart... well he did some belches so my day was made  :D I got quite a lot of video of the gig, especially the interpretive dancing and fun during the delays, which was great. I'm gonna stick it up online unless there's any objections.

Was quite strange to be a few feet away from the mighty Dev master. Awesome! 8)
