I'm hoping some US company will get them in stock, like The End Records. Century Media is really slacking on the Ocean Machine and Terria vinyl.

Does the City vinyl have the same tracks of the remastered CD (centipede + demos) or only the ones one the original City CD?

I would normally have no problem forking over the cash for these vinyls but I have oped out of getting this collection only because... well I don't really have a reason. All the albums are fantastic but I fear they'll just be sitting in my cabinet with no play time as I rarely listen to music in my house anymore. Someone else can get my copies.

Devin,

If you get the chance, can you let us know what (if any) role you played in these? I am dying for your discography on LP but will not buy another record (from any artist) at all unless the lineage is disclosed. Did you provide any of your masters to any of these companies for their pressings?

Thanks

I will save my money.

A giant FU to CM for not answering any questions about this release. It should be mandatory, like it used to be on CD's, to print the lineage on the product. All manufacturers of new vinyl should have to provide source information. I took CM's reluctance to do so as being an admission of guilt for transferring CD's to vinyl.

No matter how much I love Dev's music, I refuse to pay for sub-par vinyl.

Anyone has it?

My local store says they'll get them next week. They originally had the release date for today, but it has apparently been pushed back ... just enough so I won't be able to get anything in time to be signed at Tuska.

I've been looking and I can't find it. What's the news on the Ocean Machine and Terria vinyl?

Hey all, Im hoping to buy all 7 that are for pre-order, for £125 and then individual frames costing all together between £20-£50

Can someone tell me, Vinyls are typically 12inches by 12inches right? the Cover i mean?

wanna know what sizes to get of frame, so i can have the Vinyl and Cover separate in the frame, So would that mean something like 12x24" ?

When are Terria and Ocean Machine Biomech be out? I thought they were first? are they sold out ? :/

Cheers

Does anyone know if the artwork for the Ki vinyl is the artwork with the tribal image, or the artwork for the slipcase the CD came in? I would have expected it to be the tribal image, but amazon is showing the slipcase artwork (maybe just their default image for Ki though)

Yo guys!

No I didn't have a role in these, they told me they were making them and I have seen only one (The City one) and it seemed cool.

Not being a vinyl connoisseur, I cannot vouch for the quality, but it seemed cool from what I can tell, if you have any questions, maybe save your money...

Thanks for all the support folks! ...busy busy here...

Wow, nice one Dev!
Well yeah there are a lot of advantages to vinyls, even disregarding quality the artwork and collectibility are obvious ones. But personally I'd just enjoy bragging rights :D
I'm sure they'll be snapped up!

Ordered mine from plastichead.com a couple of days ago. Plastichead doesnt send any shipping confirmation e-mails, usually their packages just arrive at my doorstep unannounced :)

Waiting...
