I haven't really gotten that emotional over music or movies. Closest I got to crying was watching the mother read the letter to the camera about her son getting killed after serving the U.S army in Fahrenheit 9/11. But with music I just get long shivers down my spine and enter this akward state whenever I hear a part in a song that really hits me. With Devin's stuff I've found it to be:

The solo in Deep Peace, Away, The Death Of Music and the ending of Ki.

Like so many have already posted; I don't (there are few exceptions) cry when I listen to music. But there are lots of Devys songs that touches me. Just to mention few; Funeral, Deep Peace, Storm, Nobody's Here, Tiny Tears, Let It Roll, Lady Hellen.

Satan's Ice Cream Truck - but that was with laughter.

Seriously though, Suicide did at one point. The slower, more brooding songs of his to draw me into that kind of mood, but that was the only song that truly hit a nerve with me (to date).

GOSH, so many...but I am overly emotional guy. Umm...Sister, Funeral, Death of Music, Canada, Nobody's Here, Stagnant (I know, sounds weird. It was the memories), Planet Rain, Sit in the Mountain (overwhelmed by beauty), Processional, Storm, Supercrush (nostalgia), The Way Home (nostalgia), Ki, Terminal, Lady Helen.

The weird thing is, as much as Infinity is my fave, I don't think it has ever made me cry. It just makes me think...way too deeply.

sissy lol

Oddly enough, Death of Music did this to me today.

I was having a pretty normal day, then I had this one thought pop into my head when the vocals kick in properly and that was it.

Hasn't happened to me since I was 14 or something lol

How peculiar!

I can't believe more people aren't saying Nobody's Here.

I don't cry to music but things certainly register emotionally. Nobody's Here is great for that, The Greys too, as well as Things Beyond Things.

Yeah dude, that huge bend at the end of the "Nobody's here" solo and the way it gets engulfed with a swarm of Devin's vocal pads! Gets me every time.

I don't tend to get worked up to the point of crying but Devin's music certainly invokes a lot of emotion for me. 3am, sit in the mountain, tiny tears, in-ah.

Seeing this live, just fucking floored me too don't know if it has a title yet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aatC8mLaQj4

To those who have not been moved to tears by music - the universe loves you.. let it in and let it out. :)

As for songs...

Almost all of Ocean Machine. Voices in the Fan, Bastard, Death of Music.... fukkinforgetaboutit...

From Terria.. Deep Peace needs mention all by itself. Nobody's Here owns... and yes the music from Down and Under has moved me enough. Music that moves you to tears without words is just the best.

I'll post more later... i need to re-listen to these gems.

Lot's of 'em, almost every calm one I think..but it depends if I'm in that moody state. Hell, I almost cried to a Finntroll track last week. :)

Stagnant - that song hits me like a motherfucker every single time...reminds me of a really shitty winter I went through...and how things started to get better for me (step by step) when spring came around...oh the poetry of it all!

Also, Nobobdy's Here. That song is just so emotional.

Let It Roll - There are times - many times...when my pride I must swallow. You said it, Dev!

And yes...Terminal is also a monster of a song...emtionally speaking.
