The keyboard player quit a while ago, shorty after they announced the new singer I believe. I can't say I care much, he didn't add much to the sound of the band and come on, he looked like an idiot

Nope. Didn't know any of that since Polars is the only album I've heard. I've got a lot of catching up to do. Found these fellows many years ago when I went on my very first "new band binge" and I believe their second album was having the final touches put on it. Not sure if I actually heard it yet. But will be doing so soon. Just giving Polars a few spins again.

Ha, that's why he was good - he was all around the place, but so subtle and seamless you didn't think "here comes the synthy bit". Also supplied healthy bit of hardware porn to the band - he used proper, shiny analogue synths with lots of blinking lights. Small touch, but at least +2 to awesome.

Pray the next guy won't do Rudess-style solos .
