SikTh - "Peep Show"

So glad I got to see them live on their farewell tour. Actually made me shed a tear when they played this as an encore :)

I'm also a poet and at the time I didn't know it.

Firewater - The Golden Hour.

Seriously in love with this album at the moment. Matches my mood perfectly.
I agree, Black Humour beats Black Metal every time.

La Rochefoucauld eh? Perhaps that's where I got my "no more romantic love, than unrequited love" quote.
Or maybe I just made it up one day when I was stoned and pissed off. I don't know anymore.

Cassette Boy & DJ Rubbish : Inside a Whales Cock Vol. 1.
Brilliant mixing and sampling. A mixture of Comedy, hip hop and piss take covers.

Jenny From the Block sung by some random Northern Englishman.
Genius!

oh, and Cloudkicker

I went on a major Cloudkicker binge last night and listened to every one of his songs...Except "Hold On" because I've listened to that so many times.

Really liking Patton's Mondo Cane lately.

His voice brilliantly takes those songs on the dangerous path between faithful and cheesy, resulting in something rather awesome and lighthearted, as well as sort of anachronistic. We'll see how it fares overtime.
