Nice! City on vinyl!

The New Black on vinyl would be badass too.

Is there anywhere I can preorder these?

EDIT: Nevermind, I just did a search for "Devin Townsend" on PHD website and found them all. I've preordered all of them.

I wonder when Biomech is getting a date.

oh man. That's tempting, but I'm hoping for a US release of some kind.

Dear God. That City package looks so fucking sweet. €70 is a lotta cashish though...

Well, I want all of those.

The Infinity one gives the track listing as that of the Christeen EP. Huh?

So far in my career as a HevyDevy fool I have bought everything but this is the first time where I have had to think "I cant really afford this" before pre-ordering. Damn you mr Mortgage!

But you live in Scotland. Surely you could pay off your entire mortgage with €70?

So it'll be a few months still before we can get our hands on them. I'll wait to see if some more local stores are going to have pre-orders.

The ones I'm most anticipating, Terria and OM, will be done by CM and/or InsideOut, but so far there hasn't been any info about these. Why are there two different companies handling these releases? Could it be due to differences in how the mastering is handled? Perhaps Terria and OM are properly remastered for vinyl from the original tracks, and the rest from CD-transfers... I wonder.

Well Back on Black is known to release just CD transfers on vinyl. They did it quite often at the beginning with their earliest releases. I wouldn't doubt if they do it now. Unfortunately I cannot tell the difference since my turntable is hooked into a very standard micro-stereo system.

70 Euro might get me a couple of CDs. But Mortgages? Vinyl? Noooooo.

I found City on ebay for £40 :D

Now to buy the rest...

Why are Physicist and Infinity on single vinyl and the rest double? I assumed it was because of the length, but Addicted is the same length as Physicist/Infinity and it's on double.

Probably because they know that Physicist wont sell as much as Addicted. Of course, a 2Lp version is always better - less inner groove distortion. Back on Black is great but I wouldt expect them to release these right on schedule. Last year they released all of Cannibal Corpse records on vinyl but at the end they were couple of months off with the schedule.

But its all good, the main thing is that the records sound and look good.
