That pizza looks fucking gross

Few days back I discovered my favourite source of guitar strings will host Dirk Verbeuren's drum clinic. I love teh Scarve and Dirk's me(n)tal drumming is one of the reasons, so I went there - it was probably closest thing to seeing Scarve live now wasn't it. When not talking about stuff and answering drum nerds questions Dirk was playing some Soilwork's stuff and plenty of Scarve tracks, including Irradiant with that clever quiet-blastbeat part, swingy Asphyxiate (the one with Thordendal's solo) and Hyperconscience, where he also presented l33t stick retrieving skills. He's pretty incredible, really.

Ended up with mind blown, ringing in ears, some CDs signed

Dirk's very nice, nerdy sort of dude by the way. The bad part was I now have first-hand information that Scarve won't make new record soon, Dirk and Sylvain are quite busy working with Soilwork

Dirk's drumming on Sybreed's Antares was ace. He's a really great drummer, and Soilwork is very, very lucky to have him amongst their ranks. Especially with Wichers being back.
