Catching up with some entries for the thread, here's core of my commuting playlist with short comments:

The Presets - Apocalypso - I like the vocals, they sound like the dude just don't care
Proghma-C - Bard-do Travel - I don't like the vocals, sounds like the dude cares way too much (is he going to cry or wat)
Ozric Tentacles - live@Sunrise Festival - I don't care about vocals, because there's none. I've ordered the DVD version, so I'll see how much they don't have a vocalist.
Scarve - Translucence - half of the vocals are horrible, but I still love it because it's damn Scarve and it will be great even with elephant struck with cerebral palsy as a vocalist.
DTP - Ki - strangely it's even better than months ago. Vocals are sort of ok.

They don't have a vocalist for at least 25 albums that I know of.

Check out Pungent Effulgunt or The Floor's Too Far Away... or, any of the albums really. great stuff if you dig that kind of thing. Ideally experienced live in a field at dawn while tripping off your tits but groovy in a home environment too.
